Transtar Travel Pte Ltd: Enjoy a Smooth Bus Ride From Singapore To Malaysia

At every point in planning our round-the-world adventure, we made every moment count. After exploring New York, Hawaii and Japan, we planned to head next to Singapore, with London being our final stop. However, because we had two weeks between flights, we chose to take a bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, followed by another from Kuala Lumpur to Bali, rather than staying in Singapore for two weeks before traveling there directly.

You may be wondering how to travel by bus from Singapore to Malaysia, but the options can be confusing, and mixed online reviews might make your head spin. Some travelers believe flying is faster, while others see bus travel as a valuable experience. After doing some research, we decided on Transtar Travel Pte Ltd for our tickets; their first-class travel experience between Singapore and Malaysia. For all those looking to book their tickets in a Malay interface, visit  ticket bas for booking affordable tickets.

Our journey started at a bus station located in an Asian shopping center. We wanted to fill up on beverages and snacks before starting on our bus journey because there were no cafés or stores nearby; Starbucks at Marina Bay Sands was ideal because it provided just what we needed for our journey.

After arriving at the bus station, we were instructed to arrive 30 minutes prior to our scheduled departure time in order to present our tickets at a small open-stand counter. By showing our mobile tickets, we received a simple piece of paper with our seat numbers printed on it.

Surprisingly, our bus arrived 20 minutes earlier than scheduled, with efficient staff helping with our luggage before departing 10 minutes earlier than planned. Overall, everything seemed smooth due to their efficient system.

Our first stop was at the Singapore border, where we needed to exit with our passports, present them to border guards for stamping, and wait on the other side before rejoining our bus. Ten minutes later, our Malaysian border stopped. This one required taking all luggage along and going through procedures similar to airport security; however, everything ran smoothly!

Traveling from Singapore to Malaysia by bus was an enjoyable and relaxing experience, featuring comfortable seats, friendly staff and even a meal of fish and rice! Although my view was limited to highways rather than airport chaos, traveling this way proved worthwhile compared to flying. When considering all the time spent waiting in airports compared to traveling by bus.

On our arrival to Kuala Lumpur, we were dropped off near a mall before taking a taxi ride to THE FACE SUITES hotel, discovered through Instagram. With one of the city’s most picturesque pools onsite and modern and spacious accommodations – complete with kitchen, laundry machine and complimentary breakfast with a view – this journey began off brilliantly!

Stay tuned for my next post, where I’ll outline what to do in Kuala Lumpur when you have only three days to explore this vibrant city!
