Temperature Control Is Improved By An Industrial Swamp Cooler

In the workplace, the use of swamp coolers has been shown to confer a number of significant positive health effects. Controlling the temperature is the first order of business and the most obvious. It is a significant accomplishment to bring a shop that is 90 degrees Fahrenheit down to a temperature that is more bearable. (Actual results with swamp coolers are never guaranteed to be exactly as predicted. They can bring temperatures down by as much as 16 degrees Fahrenheit in environments that are extremely hot and dry.)

A swamp cooler, in addition to following the best practices for safety, can contribute to the reduction of injuries sustained on the job as a result of factors such as fatigue, dehydration, heat exhaustion, and other similar factors. However, despite the fact that one can always control the temperature at work with an air conditioning system, these systems are very expensive to install and maintain. In point of fact, even if you are having HVAC installed in a massive building complex, you are going to need a way to keep your crew safe and cool while they are working in the heat. A swamp cooler can provide a significant portion of that cooling without requiring any of the trouble that other methods do.

Generation Of Negatively Charged Ions

When people buy portable air coolers, the benefits of negative ions aren’t always the first thing on their minds. However, this feature is extremely popular in workplaces that are frequently dusty, cluttered, or otherwise unclean. During the stage where the liquid evaporates, negative ions are produced. These ions cling to the dust and dirt particles that would otherwise float aimlessly through the air and find their way into your lungs had it not been for the presence of these ions. Because of the ions, the nasty particles of dirt will now adhere to the floor and the walls.

The filth and grime that accumulates in a shop provide an ideal environment for the growth of bacteria, which, when left unchecked, can have a cumulatively detrimental effect on your pulmonary (lung and breathing) system. Air that has been cleaned better is the air that has been cleaned better. The use of a swamp cooler can contribute to the cleanliness of your workshop, which is important for maintaining your health.

Limit The Risk Of The Disease Known As Legionnaires’.

If you are concerned about this dangerous airborne disease, let me start off by giving you some reassuring information: swamp coolers have never been linked to an instance of Legionnaires’ disease.

Legionnaires’ disease, which is caused by the legionella bacteria, is a potentially lethal form of pneumonia. It is not transmitted from person to person, as is the case with many other types of bacteria and diseases; rather, it is carried on water droplets, which are then inhaled and absorbed by the lungs after being inhaled.

The bacteria can be found growing in water supplies, such as those found in fountains, water outlets, A/C units, atomizers, and other similar places. For instance, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) ducts need to be checked and cleaned regularly. Pipes and duct systems that are longer are at a greater risk of carrying the bacteria, and dirty pipes could also spell trouble for the system. Despite the fact that swamp coolers have a water reservoir, there have been no documented instances of bacteria growing in these reservoirs and then spreading to individuals.
