Move your devices to another charging dock

Why is the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S unable to call 911?
According to Emergency911.org, if you have a 3G iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, you can no longer dial 911 directly, nor can you send a text to 911. You can, however, call emergency services from an iPhone. The instructions are very similar for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, so it’s unlikely that there’s a problem with 911. So, if you’re calling 911 from an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, you may see a screen telling you that you can’t send texts, only make calls.
