How to Design Save the Dates
Have come across some of the questions online that we need to answer here. How do you design save the dates? Is it really that complicated?
If you want to send out save the dates for your wedding, you’ll need to create them. And if you don’t know how to design them, you might be wondering whether or not you should hire someone else to do it for you.
Save the dates are a great way to get guests excited about your big day. They also give you a chance to show off your style and creativity. In this article, I’m going to share some simple steps to designing cheap magnetic save the dates.
Step 1: Choose Your Theme
When choosing a theme, think about what kind of wedding you’re having. If you’re getting married in a church, then you can choose from religious themes like “The Wedding” or “Jesus Loves Me.” Or maybe you’d prefer something more modern with a twist like “Fashionista Chic,” “Modern Elegance” or even “Ruffles & Flourishes.”
Whatever type of wedding you have, you can find plenty of inspiration on Pinterest. You can search by category (like weddings) or by keyword (like save the date). There’s no right or wrong choice when it comes to choosing a theme. It’s all up to you!
Step 2: Pick A Date
Once you’ve chosen a theme, pick a date. This is where things start to get tricky. You’ll need to make sure that both your venue and your date work together. For example, if you plan on holding your wedding at a beach resort, then you may want to hold your wedding during the summer months. But if you’re planning on having an outdoor ceremony, then you’ll probably want to avoid the hottest days of the year. It’s equally advised to make sure that you have a date that doesn’t correlate with busy public holidays like Christmas or Id. This is mainly because most of the people are always engaged with their personal issues at this point in time.
Step 3: Decide On the Details
Now that you’ve picked a date and decided on a theme, you’ll need to decide on the details. These include everything from the color palette to the font used for the text.
For example, if you’re having a rustic-themed wedding, then you could use browns and greens as your main colors. You could also incorporate touches of gold into your decor.
You’ll also need to decide on the wording of your save the dates. Some couples opt to write their own messages while others go with prewritten ones.
Step 4: Print Them Out
After you’ve designed your save the dates, print them out and stick them in envelopes. Make sure they look good before mailing them out!
Designing save the dates doesn’t have to be difficult. With just a little bit of time and effort, you can create unique designs that will help you stand out from other couples.
