Every day in many parts of the country the havoc of corona is increasing, due to which every day many people are also coming in the grip of infection. Not only this, due to the havoc of Corona which started from last year, how many people have lost their lives today. So do not know that there are so many people who are falling prey to infection. If we talk about Punjab, then in the past few days, the Corona wave has started growing even faster in Punjab.
It has been reported that 20 patients died due to corona outbreak in Punjab, while 1501 positive patients have been reported. So far, 197755 positive patients have been reported in the state, out of which 6072 patients have lost their lives. At the same time, according to the state’s nodal officer, 269 patients are on oxygen support in different districts. Whereas on 39 ventilators, the experts say that in the coming days, outbreaks of Covid-19 may increase. Out of the 20 patients who died today, 7 was of Jalandhar, 4 of Pathankot, 3 from Sangrur, 2 each in Hoshiarpur and Tarn Taran, and a patient has died in Kapurthala and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
The slow pace of vaccination in the state is very disappointing, an example has emerged today in which 183 health care workers and 264 frontline workers took the first dose of vaccine, while 91 health care workers and 270 frontline workers took the Covid-19 vaccine.
